sitting and vegging

I could sit and veg in this chair all day
there are other tasks, there’s another way
living room is darkened and so I stay
I’m getting older, turning soft and gray

I’d never have done this back in the day
used to dance all day with a hey hey hey!
I would have never sat, or prone lay
Yet now here I sit, feeling okay
