Sitting

I have no cash
for days.
I have 40 quarters,

plenty of room for
groceries in my
kitchen.

rent is paid,

I have a roof
and a toilet to
sit.

I am working nights,
at by no means
an ardous job.

nights mean aloofness,
this he likes.

I am reading and
writing and feeling
and questioning,

as the night
blossoms into
day.

I feel alive.

Alive and strong,
I am bold

I am an animal,

---

I am grasping that we
are always here,

and never there.

open the realm
to enjoy this.
