Can thee not hear the ringing, in the Heights beyond, the clanging of freedom’s bell! It is the sounding of revolution, chiming in the Distance, the echoing of liberation, spreading from The alpine mountain tops to the farthest shore. It shines as a beacon unto the world Behold we are the sisters of liberty united, Beneath the stars and strips of America, forever may It wave in the winds of equality. Mothers of sons, sisters of brothers, grandmothers Of grandchildren, but we are so much more than This! Female soldiers of the hearth and home, Domestic engineers raising a nation’s youth, To believe faith’s divine right that all people Are created equal, no matter their race, creed Or religion. We are the guardians of the future, the leaders Of tomorrow’s promised, hands that yield to the Heart and soul of right and wrong, the teachers Of hope and tolerance. In the name of respect, and the reverence of pride, We cling to our beliefs with our heads held high. For life is precious, a treasure beyond monetary Value, our bared arms are made of flesh and bone, Born from the inner womb within us all. In memorial honor guard, many women Have paid the high price of life over death, These are the true sisters of liberty! For they have fallen in the battle fields Of the just, on the cause of freedom, Here we pay them homages do, thank you Honored ladies for your service, to your Country, and on a nations behalf. Let us all bow our heads in a moment of prayer, For these women soldier’s, nurses, officers of The American forces, who shed their blood, Tears, and emotions on the distant shores Beyond, their homeland’s welcoming embrace. But aren’t we all sisters of liberty, No matter what part we have played, In this land of plenty, called the U.S.A. A beacon stands tall in the harbor of freedom, And her name is Lady Liberty, let her flames’ Torch forever shine, in all our hearts, We whom are the ladies of liberty, Bow unto she, this sacred monument to Justice and liberation. This is a fitting tribute to the females who gave their all in the service to their country. You have delivered with intensity what you set out to do. It is also an apt reminder that justice and liberty have to be safeguarded. A 7 rating. // paul
