Sisters

Did you want to go?
I could.
That’s not the problem.
I am.
If you want tickets…
I have money.
I sit there.
The money sits in my account.
The deadline passed.
The tickets are taken.
She’d walk out.
And grab her purse.
I could go.
But I am the problem.
I have money.
Money is not the issue.
Instead, I stay home to watch tv.
She slams the door on her way out.
A pause, then she comes back in for her keys.
I don’t know where she goes sometimes.
But it’s not to the concert with me.
My sister.
The deadline.
The door slams again.
