Siren's Serenade

As I sit here 
with my pen in my mouth
this Siren serenades me
and to this there is no doubt

   Your words are magic, magic, magic
         Teasing my ears
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
     Stealing my thoughts and fears
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
             Falling around me
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
   Dragging me down to the depths
           Where I want to be

So there is nothing to see hear, please move along
for her singing captivates me
and surrounded by it there is no wrong.
Please envelope me
with your velvet voice
tuck me away with comforts
‘til there is no choice 
To know

   Your words are magic, magic, magic
         Teasing my ears
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
     Stealing my thoughts and fears
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
             Falling around me
   Your words are magic, magic, magic
   Dragging me down to the depths
           Where I want to be

All here floats around with the tide,
just flotsam and jetsam from inside our minds
to sail away with the waves we ride
as we cleanse ourselves for our new finds.

We cast about on this sea of life
surrounded by Maelstroms 
and electric strife,
but there is only one thing clear to me
on this mystical night
your song entices me 
from my celestial flight
Because
