Siren Song

Sing
And know
If I succumb

It is because
I give myself
willingly

You have no power
Over me
That I do not grant

What you see in my rapture
Is not your power
But mine

What then are you?
Whence come you?
And wherefore art thou?

Accept then this gift
Of my adoration,
With gratitude and detachment

Find then and Know now
your true strength, and
Sing
