Siren

a siren is always a woman, a poison disguised as a temptress, a coaxer who kills- but in reality it’s not always a woman. the sweet song can come from a man, the lies sound so tempting and real; you fall right into the trap. you look like a fool who fell in love. everything he offers sounds so nice, so different from than it was before, it’s like sugar, but it’s actually salt, everything you believed seems to be a lie. for a moment everything is great- you believe everything he says, he loves you. you supposedly mess it up- the song turns into screams, everything you dreamt of comes crashing down- you ruined everything. it hurts you more than you’d like to admit, everyone thinks you’re stupid looking for the siren. you were the fool who fell in love, once again with a tempting mistake- the same things you heard before- drew you in once again. you fell for the siren that was a man. -kayc
