Sinners Prayer.
Heavenly father, who is in heaven, pure be your name.
Your kingdom does come, as well your will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Restore in me your trust,
and cleanse my heart of its worldly lust. Restore in
me your faith, so that I may reveal my shamed face.
Deliver to me the gift of sight, so that I can
distinguish between what you say is wrong, and what
the world sees as right. Deliver to me the gift of
sight, so I may tread the path of light. Return to me
your undying love, so that I may deal with the
pressures my world is full of. Return to me your
undying love, cleanse me, prepare me to ascend into
your kingdom. Allow me to reap my daily bread, so
that I may avoid a world bent on capping up my head.
Let me not lay to waste in the valley of the shadow of
death, my heart is freely yours without a second
guess. Lift me back upon my feet, so that I may walk
alongside your sheep. Reinstate my voice so that I
may pray, and escape a life that brings sorrow and
pain my way. Open up my eyes so that I may see the
way back to the path on which you want me to be. Help
me to cleanse my mind, body, and soul, so that once
again I may be whole. Strengthen my heart so that I
can begin to clear out all of the evils which I battle
within. Restore my mind so that I may find the time
to pray, instead of reaching out for a cigarette to
unwind. Grant me the will to reach deep within me, so
that I may settle my soul and come to peace with me.
I ask not for any worldly wealth, just for the power
to contend with my self. With tears in my eyes and an
open heart , to you I come. I require assistance, and
to help me, you are the only one.
