Sinking Away

I long to fade away, Into blissful disarray, With my aching heart, In pieces, torn apart, Away from this world. Into the twilight zone, Singled out, all alone, With nobody there, To even shed a tear, As my soul unfurls. Embracing the abyss, I guess no one will miss, My innocent grin, Willingness to sin, Upon opulent pearl. I’m sinking away, In memories I fade, An absent embrace, For love that’s too late, To give it a whirl. (c) 2016 PJ Bayliss (/center>
