Sink
It’s always the eyes that hook me,
I look into them with glee.
One pair after another took me,
And I sank into their sea.
I have no favorite colours,
For my soul always flies
Into pair after another
Of gorgeous, shining eyes.
Their depth, their hues, their magic
Like magnets, suck me in;
And in such warmth and comfort,
To sink I then begin.
Into your eyes I’m staring,
Like seas, they toss and roll;
Your eyes and spirit sharing,
Like hugging someone’s soul.
I look, and then to my surprise
I hear what thoughts you think.
Like roiling seas are your eyes,
And into them I sink.
