Sing To Me, Grandma
Sing to me, Grandma.
Sing soft and low.
Sing to me, Grandma,
The sweetest song you know.
"Amazing Grace" -
How sweet that sound.
"How Great Thou Art" -
Forever resound.
Say "Rise and shine.
If you can't shine, just rise."
"Can I lay here and shine?"
Will be my reply.
Hug me tight.
Say, "I love you."
Laughing and singing,
Say, "There's work to do."
Tell me a story,
I really do listen,
As we wash the dishes
And cook in the kitchen.
I rub your back.
I cut your hair.
I tell you "Thank you
For always being there."
Tell me of Jesus
And the love you've known.
Sing to me, Grandma,
So I’ll know I'm home.
