Sing Now, All the Birds of the Earth
awakening at daybreak
my voice sings like a bird
as the sun rises.
my arms stretch like wings
ready to flutter and soar
welcoming a new day
ready to travel far and beyond.
we are not so different
separate yet not alone
bird and human
living and breathing
sleeping and dreaming
for a better world
