Sing Me To Sleep
Angelic, sauve tones sing me to sleep,
The others in their rooms strain to hear even a peep.
My personal Angels attend from above,
They keep me warm like a hand in a glove.
I cleave unto them, hold them tight.
They light up the black in the darkest night.
They show me love I've never seen,
They wipe my tears, my face they clean.
They tell me stories about their lives,
To be like God, each one strives.
I start to shut my lids, close my eyes,
And their voices start humming, with no surprise.
The others in their rooms strain to hear even a peep,
As angelic, sauve tones sing me to sleep.
