Sing Me a Song
Oh heavenly girl, sing me a song
One that will soothe me all night long
Im humming along, gripping your arm
Acting as if you'll be my good luck charm
Watch over me, spread your wings
Put me at ease with the humble song that you sing
Read me a story, valiant knight
Tuck me to bed and keep me safe at night
I see their eyes, glowing so bright
Give me my blanket, they give me a fright
Im scared of the dark, dont leave my side
The last time you did I hid away and I cried
King of the Hearts, lend us your voice
Tell me a tale, whichever one of your choice
I feel your strength flow through my soul
Keeping me warm so I'll never be cold
They're after my heart to change it to black
Im afraid if they get me I'll never turn back
So heavenly girl, sing me a song
One that will protect me all night long
