Sinful Image
Imagine imagism a
raw reality
A realm for royalty and Kings
A place where one could love
and be loved
Scenes from within the heart
Will my soul ever feel past my
tragic youth
Whereas a child grew to know
trust and affection
Least a man fell to lies and
vanity
Lust and greed growing from
within
Does death need be delayed for
such outcome of either is death
while living
Where did the days of
romanticism, poetry and
affection go?
Perhaps they are buried
beneath today and sin
Men used to be noble honest
and brave
The world now has evolved to
cheap thrills and dishonesty
Where a heart acts and doesn't
feel
A hand shake meaningless only
knives that stab the back and
trust may still be seen
Where is the holiness in this
generation?
God shall bring judgement on
all whom breathe
Pausing only for those absent
from this sinful image
