Since when did you care?
about politics
and gay rights
and me.
since when were you loud?
and made yourself proud?
of yourself and your work and me.
since when were you gay?
but still not to say…
that you are
but I've seen the rainbows hidden
in your room
and your thoughts
and your eyes
for me.
