Sin

I am only one lonely girl
In a world of sin
I see the damage that people can cause
I get wrapped up in it
Because that is the only thing I can do
But I hear you in my conscience
“That’s wrong”
Those two words pierce me like a sword
I don’t listen
I keep digging myself in a deeper hole
You reach out
I turn away
You call my name
I say go away
You knock
I close and lock
Then one day
You knock
I unlock
You come in
I let you in, to see what you could do
Then I kick you out
But that doesn’t stop you
You keep knocking
Then all you do is wait
To see what I do
