Simplicity

Perhaps I live in people’s dream
Being rent for public satisfaction
Have the opportunity to live in large
Spotlights have turned me to fame
If only people don’t know my name

I’m just as ordinary as anyone else
I’m not a saint so don’t ask me to be
Probably you can see my happy face
But sometimes it doesn’t feel the same

And if I can’t reach the expectation
Don’t sink me down and live in shame
You consume my life like coffee in the morning
While I’m just as ordinary as anyone else

Every so often I got stressed up with the program
And got exhausted by the media
Maybe I’m able to pay the rent and the taxes
And my heart got lonely and desperate too

I can’t recognize which are friends or foes
They are clever to choose their masks
They don’t even let me breathe without restraint
I feel like I’m in prison for public

And more often I choose silence as my second home
Thinking how to find love in this crowded world
