“Thought intrusion, cause of agitation Cessation, way to joyous elation” _________________________ We would, if we could, abide in silence Devoid of ego ploy, nestled in joy Thought interference, stifles innocence Fear the decoy, prevents us to enjoy Now that we know, what blocks our joy mellow Power of reason, needs our permission To reclaim heart’s glow, love throbs we follow Ego urge treason, a self-made prison Head-heart alignment, road to contentment Simple secret, that mind cannot ferret Rapture current, our native element Tranquil calm perfect, once our stance erect Regrets of past and fears of the morrow Ego indulgence, cause of our sorrow 25-September-2021
