Simple Pleasures

I am so delighted
by simple pleasures
that cost nothing
     --butterflies flitting
          --sparrows chirping
               --squirrels chattering
I love
     --a parade
          --funny costumes
               --unexpected bonuses
I wish you
     --hugs and kisses
          --better days ahead
               --freedom from want
May we always
     --sing happy songs
          --pursue justice
               --live in peace
