Simple Love

Walking down an old dirt road
Thinking to yourself how much you love him,
You slip your hand into his.

Trying on the white dress
Knowing that you’ll soon be his forever,
You smile at the memories waiting for you.

Leaning your head against his chest
Thanking God for bringing him into your life,
You snuggle closer waiting for that special moment.

Old and gray after many years
Remembering everything you’ve been through,
 You praise God for all the blessings.
