Simple Joys

Looking for beauty
in everyday moments.
Searching with my soul
for lyrics sung in kitchens.
Joy felt in simplicity.

Looking for some gentleness.
Laughter floating in the breeze.
Friends and strangers at my door.
Come to feast on life.
