Silver Linings
In every silver lining I find
Dark clouds hiding inside.
In the mist I stumble blind
In sheets of rain I try to hide.
I climb over rocks that bear your name
Finding my way over boulders of time.
Memories of you a searing, burning flame
I Alice through the looking glass sublime.
In fuzzy delusions I find the peace
You and I, chimes in the moving air.
Carpe Diem, the day we will seize
If sanity is lost, I really do not care.
For the flames are burning high
Burning is the longing within.
I look at silver linings with a sigh
Knowing dark clouds will always win.
