Silt and Rust

Hungered yearning for justice; Crumbling statues with deafened ears, Teardrops eroding mighty mountains, As silt gathers year by year; The crimes of gluttonous heroes  Told in each layer of collected memory, Let one be mixed with rust, Of those shackles from which We were freed.
