Silhouette

In the dimming light of day Just before the night The final rays from sun's set Illuminate the sight Of you, who's standing facing west Your back is turned to me Approaching I call out your name But you don't turn to see You move your hair from off your neck My lips contact your skin Vanilla rose at sunset Fills the space I'm in Then finally you turn and look Our eyes lock on halfway And then you fall into my arms All night right there you stay
