Silent Wars

My screams are void
Interrupted by blurred groans
Drums beating,
Echoing in the dead of night,
Unavoidable
Silent wars has begun
Quarrels set off,
Throwing away love

Who wins? Who has gone missing?
No one knows in silent wars

It appears that there are always MIAs in silent wars. No one truly knows the real impact except the person experiencing the moment. Drums in the middle of the night are always impacting. I like the use of the rhetorical questions to bring the poem to light. Great job! Joseph
