Silent Support

For someone who is mourning,
After the death of a loved one,
A gift of a shoulder,
Is all they need to lean on.
sometimes all a heart needs,
Is a present of presence itself.
To sit and cry,
And to think aloud.
To let the tears fall,
And let it all out.

This is so moving and so wise - especially "a present of presence itself" - well said!
