Silent Streets

The young walk on the solemn streets, seeing all the damage Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets Gone though once, gone through twice eroded what is man Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets Actions evil and uncivilized from centers come Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets Marching men in uniform saluted for security Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets Rome’s pillars collapse, relieved they have steely company Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets Huddled away, praying, alone no one is there anymore Still air and empty seats, simple silent streets
