Silent Space
There is a glimmer in my eyes
In my step a nice spring
Because it is you I thought about
When I woke up this morning
The world seems new and bright
Even though it’s a dark winter morning sans light
Your presence in my heart makes it with gusto beat
And even a trivial glass of water feels like a treat
The thought of meeting you, fills me with contentment and joy
Like a warrior victorious in the battle of Troy
I wish I could mount on the fastest mare
And gallop into your arms, before my heart does tear
My prayers are answered and I meet you
You rush into my arms and I dissolve into you
The world ceases to exist; I see not a sight or a face
It is silence all around, like the vacuums of space
To such a pleasurable void, I wish we could go
Where everything stops, time freezes, doesn’t flow
Where every emotion is pure in texture and taste
In such a silent void, our love we celebrate
