Sudhir Pohankar Poet Elegy

Silent Scream

There she stood;
                              Tears glistening in her eyes,
                              Agony on her beautiful face,
                              Anguish in her angelic heart,
                                     Suffering silently
                            The indifference of the beloved.
                                   Her world crumbled,
                                   Her heart shattered,
                                       Her soul lost 
                               So nothing else mattered,
                     The Time screeched and The Time stopped
                                       And............
                                 There she stood
                                   Frozen in Time
                               With frozen emotions!
                              At the threshold of Life
                             At the threshold of Death.

I sing, I compose, but have not gone into that profession. Engineer by education, was in management job, now have switched over to academics. Love to write poems.
