Silent Pain, Screaming

In the bottom of my heart
there lies, still, a broken part.
Like a wound mumbling in pain;
A part that braves the hardest rain.

Behind my silence, so deafening,
a part of me is loudly screaming;
It screams in deep desperation,
longing for touch of salvation.
