Silent Pain, Screaming
Enchanted by the waves of florid ecstasy
The flower of my heart blossomed
When your charm drizzled on me
Like the amorous summer rain
Drenched by the shower of desire
I felt the nectar of love brew within me.
The flame of my heart flower was stoked
By the breeze of the yearning spring
Pristine beauty of color fresco flashed
on its fascinated blushing face
Fleeting butterflies of fantasy painted
The alluring motif on their wings.
The wilting petals were dislodged
By the fierce dust storm of desertion
The hurt flower saw the dreams in debris
Its shriek was lost in the rustle of leaves
The bruised elegance it vainly tried to regain
With the touch of dew at a new dawn.
When you drifted away from my stormy sky
The tormenting thunder broke my life asunder
With the broken heart suffering silent pain
I heard the flower quietly screaming
And for a new sunburst dawn I waited
For you to return as the pearly dew on my petals.
