Silent Moon

The moon by day is like a silent light
Fighting in secret the bleakness of day
Its rays can't be seen but it dazzles bright
It charms the world in its mystic way

Like a timid star under the heaven
It glows latent in gloomy afternoon
Sometimes it is odd, sometimes it's even
Sometimes, it is like a gusty balloon

But behind the hush of its swirling shade
Its imbrium hides an enigmatic face
Its verve is like fashion that does not fade
Like an artful craft in artistic lace

Its beauty hides a profound mystery
That awaits the whim of discovery
