Silent Madness of the Mold

She drove me into madness and a hollowing despair,
Meddling with concern with the greatest amount of flair,
Probing a life of personal choices that is only mine to know,
Crushing my spirit into her mold and refusing to let me go.

She never makes a stand for others if their could be cost to her,
Leading a life to please the people without creating any stir,
I can not fit that shape she wants my unique and brazen soul to be,
Instead I live in her requested silence and eternal misery.

Faith I like when you say, I can not fit that shape she wants my unique and brazen soul to be. That shows strength and you not compromising yourself for anyone. Powerful words that show strength in character. Nice write and welcome to Poetry soup my friend. I'm fairly new also. Lots of wonderful poets here all the ones that comment I look up to.

This poetic trip though the heart is, thought provoking, descriptive, and creative all rolled up into a beautiful poem. Your emotions and poetic energy wrap themselves around your words and we are left wanting more. Emile.

I think you want 'refusing' instead of 'refuses'. This is a great write, very emotional and dramatic. I enjoyed it very much ... CayCay

thanks cay cay, it was a quick write and quick post, I did not even count the syllables but intend on cleaning it up in the future and maybe even adding another verse or two. I appreciate the comment
