Silent Love

Today I saw you for the very first time,
The love I never knew or recognized,
I stood from a distance until you came close to me,
I saw the worth of your heart, I felt your heart beat,
The silence was fear that stood in the way,
You recaptured the memories my heart tore away,
You replaced them with love you always had inside,
The love you felt you had to cover and hide,
