Silent In the Dark

There's this lil quiet corner
I spend my days in
A paper as my friend
And a pen as my man
Combined they my world
I silently sit in the dark
Tears streaming down my face
I'm scared
To move I'm afraid
I never speak nor do I talk
I only write silently and walk
The journey of poetry
Lonely in the dark
These are my feelings
Casted on a page
White as my desires
So pure
Butterflies fly in my stomach
Poetry is my first love
Even though I show love in the dark
The moments shared with my pen and paper
Can never be erased
I need your company not
I think I'm starting to enjoy my hurt
Its deep only thing my soul has ever felt
My tears are like my smile
That bless my beautified face
Silently I'll stay in the dark
And show love to my corner
Shelter to my words
