Notes About The Poem

Silent Hopes

Soft as a whisper Silent as the fresh snow Falling across my feelings Glowing through lost hope… Gentle as a caress Yearning to be felt Praising the God above For all the love that laughs… Kind as a breath of a prayer Murmured on lips so alive With grace found on the inside Where God leaves his watermark… More alive than the verse The vision thriving through time Dancing across a cloudless sky On moonbeams and stardust nights… Carefree as the noonday sun Lemon yellow and feeling so warm Suddenly there and then in the shadow Of a raindrop showering the planet… Creative as the gesture of hope Inspired by compassion and love Music drifting into the heart From a place unknown by the mind… Imagination sighs on the air Laughing and beckoning like a prayer Praising the Creator for pure grace Felt through the psalms and praises Like hope, faith and love Sent down from above My soul smiles at the joy Felt from the knowing… That God is alive and living on the inside!

A lovely penning Gina, especially stanza 3 which is just delightfully beautiful. throughout this piece, it just catches one's breath from start to finish. Blessings, Gordon
