Silent Hill

In the town where shadows creep, Silent Hill, where secrets sleep, Fog descends, a shroud of dread, Over streets where lost dreams bled. Whispers echo through the night, Ghostly figures, pale and slight, The air is thick with tales untold, Of anguish, fear, and the cold. A girl named Lila, brave yet shy, Ventured forth with a gentle sigh, Clutching tightly her lantern's glow, Into the town of endless woe. The rusted swings creaked low and slow, As she wandered through the undertow, Memories flickered, faces blurred, Madness danced, sharp and stirred. "Help me," cried a voice nearby, From the shadows, it seemed to cry, A child's plea, both soft and frail, In the mist where hope can pale. Lila followed, heart in hand, Through pathways twisted, misplanned, She stepped on leaves that whispered tales, Of haunting spirits and ghostly wails. In a house of peeling paint, Where the walls held secrets, dark and faint, She found the source of the child's fear A mirror cracked, reflecting despair. In the glass, she saw her own face, But behind it loomed a grim embrace, A figure cloaked in shadow and grime, Whispering secrets of lost time. “Run away! For here you’re trapped!” The echoes of her heart had snapped, Yet Lila stood, with courage bold, Against the dread that dared be sold. With a cry, she shattered the glass, And the shadows began to amass, A raging storm of memories grim, Pulling her close, the light grew dim. “Not today!” she screamed, her heart ablaze, Fighting through the fog’s thick haze, She summoned strength from deep within, And chased away the veil of sin. The twisted town began to shake, As phantoms vanished, dreams awake, Lila ran through streets once lost, No longer bound to Silent Hill's frost. With each step, the chill withdrew, Replacing horror with skies so blue, Emerging from the shadowed lore, She found the light, forevermore. But shadows whisper, and fog may call, In the hearts of those who dare to fall, For in every soul, a Silent Hill, Lurks in the whispers, waits to fulfill.
