Silent

i keep to myself in my room
trying to write as much as i can
to secure my dreams
i know someday i'm going to do it
the only thing that's going to earn me respect
man,i wanna do my own novel someday
i pray to God that He grants me my wish
I'm a silent type
confined in my bed
i don't talk too much
so i confide in my paper and a pen
silent,just like a dove
i'm going to do what it takes to alter
the course of ignorance that they set
to make me forget what
it is that makes me who i am
silent.
