Silence Isn'T Always Fun

The car door slamming shut
I knew what was about to occur
memories flew into my head
scattered like a scrapbook
I start to tear up
running fast towards the
hospital room, she was
already gone.
My face tear stained
as the world around me
stops. Silence is all I hear
as I say goodbye.
