Silence Is Golden

Silence Is Golden Written: by Miracle Man 2-4-2020 The time I find most prized is the uninterrupted hours I spend each morning, when silence is mellifluous. I find it a quiet, peaceful but sometimes lonely time. A time of communication with God, attentive to the thoughts He is giving me. But to soon the world outside awakes, and the silence that was sweet and plethoric, is stolen by the banging of a sanitation truck. “Use what talents you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang best”. Henry Van Dyke

So true, the quiet and peaceful time turns into the many sounds of the day. I love your line, "A time of communication with God, attentive to the thoughts He is giving me." Enjoy your day writing........
