"Silence is a Poem"



Silence is a poem
she is music in me
a constant chattering conversation

she is my daily mantra 
big love residing in my heart 
wrapped as a gift;

the child in time
finds me waiting 
in words she traces from my mind

I’ve written for her
A path, 
she intrepidly follows

She unties the ribbons 
Love is not blind
It is for her 

my present
