Silence In Doing

I’ve written myself into a corner I’ve ridden my life into a ditch I’ve sung the same song too many times My throat is dry My head it races… I must learn to put down my instrument Get out of the car Leave my body… I must learn silence. And hear high maple pour down my ear.

Sound very lyrical here? Your creative juices are flowing on this one. I like the word play. Nice tone and imagination in this piece. A poet has to make words work. Stop by to read some of my poems. Maybe your fresh eyes can gain some new ideas to writing that prefect song. If we ever meet, I would do some collaborative poetry writing project with you. Keep sharing.
