A very appropriate quote to describe the significance of apathy....
When silence is not golden, and one stands accused of complicity....
As in any situation of injustice, silence means approval and and encourages ....
And cruelty flourishes because the oppressor feel emboldened ....
But it is a brave soul to stand up and voice out disapproval...
Even when most of us feel uncomfortable ....
In there lies the problem that accentuates the severity of the injustice...
It is all too common in the society we live in...
For our social fabric of interaction expects certain norms of behaviour....
And tolerance and acceptance of aberrant behaviour is one normal human failure...
See no evil, hear no evil, do no evil...
Truth is, in life, there are always misdeeds of evil......
