Silence And Rebirth
Maech stands between silence and rebirth,
each tree shows a bud; too anxious is Allie
chasing after a blue Tit that starts its flight,
I pull his leash to prevent injury or even death:
Dashounds are playful and engage in rival fight:
they never harm the cutest, friendliest Collie!
I continue strolling down the dull valley inhaling smog,
I say hello to a henchman who grins, " Watch that fog! "
A lonely person is anti-social, he's suspicious and cold ,
he surely spoils a day that started out well; I am baffled
by such discourtesy: is there any kindness left in people?
A radiant smile is a ray of sunshine, a frown is deplorable!
This forest is pure wilderness, it instills blissful peacefulness.
rarely is seen an unkept vagrant, unless he had built his home
from the wood of fallen trees in the last September hurricane;
I pause and think, " Survival is a means of logical defensiveness. "
I take a sip from the water bottle to replenish some loss of skin salt:
tempestuous clouds gather, then they're stroke by a thunderbolt!
I was warned by mom not to seek shelter from any menacing storms,
it could be a dangerous refuge under those big branches that snapped
while torrential rain washed away everything in their fury, even stones;
I slid down many slopes, unable to stand up and find the main road.
In the blurry distance appeared an elderly man waving me on and follow
him to his hut, I got up and ran, " Here, you'll be safe until tomorrow!"
