Silence

I've come to realize that silence is healthy
being by myself once in a while is fundamental to my soul
So whenever I get the chance I run away
To the one place where no one can find me
An island of books
Where words form poetry
I feed my soul during my lunch breaks
I swiftly walk to Barnes and Nobles
It's my secret haven
away from the jungle
I face everyday
I leave Rejuvenated
it patches up wounds
Like I've just visited the doctor
It's my escape without admitting
illegal substances to control my body
It's my home away from home
It saves the tears that taunt me
Begging to drop
The insane voices
that makes me want it all to stop
It stops alright
When I walk into my spot
Pure silence
It's golden
It's healing
It's knowing your safe
From all criticism
I love this place
