Silence

As the day's go by without a word,
it makes me wonder, to feel disturbed.

The heart of the issue, being apart, still at hand,
how long can this go, feeling lonely and sad.

One minute making love, the next, out the door,
my mind still spinning, like a casualty of war.

Quarreling over the stupidest things in life,
both acting bull-headed, believing that we're right.

Not moving an inch, but pushing each other apart,
thinking with our minds instead of our hearts.
