Silence

Do not break the silence
Do not make the noise
Do not shatter the emptiness 
With all the things that annoy
Let me be engulfed in silence
Let me be submerged in quiet
Do not ruin my stillness with your incessant riot  
Go away and leave me
In my own quiet space
Let me be alone 
I prefer this quiet place

about your poem: i long for silence, how I love your poem..i wish I could make of shirt with your poem, telling all to leave me alone... yes I am surrounded by peeps 24 hours a day. maybe that is why I have writers block who know.. this world makes me dizzy. I hate the way I never get to feel the stillness.... excellent poem... a perfect 7... LUV~ LINDA
