Silence 3

No sounds at all - no noise, no talking, no music
No laughter or arguing, no banter
Just quiet -
Panic sets in - don't let those thoughts filter in!
Those thoughts that creep surreptitiously through
Creating doubts and fear and terror

Think on something else or do some activity that you have to think to do and you can't let those thoughts in...Chose a quote that is upliftting or a " Bible" verse and your brain can't think on both at the same time..Enjoyed your work which is a topic that all have faced at some time in their life.Your presence at my work was uplifting..Sara

My silence poem was like this one. It didn't place in a contest but for me, in certain environments, silence is very creepy! Thanks for your three little set of poems today. very clever!

just quiet... but I can't help but let the sound score from "Jaws" filter in as I read this! enjoyed Liz.

Liz, these three together say more than an entire volume written by another less gifted writer. Well done. Thanks so much for your kind words about my stuff. Love, Will
