Silence

Silence
 heart throbbing in my throat
Pulse beating in my hands
Absolute nothing whispers in my ears
Silence, deafening silence
My eyes close, shoulders slump
Chest jumping up and down
Pain of day melt away
Bliss never lasting
Phone moans, doorbell sings
Find serenity in yourself
Find peace from within
